Commemorating 20 years of the band, “Buffalo Daughter 20th Anniversary Exhibition Happy BirthDay BD20” is held at BEAMS HARAJYUKU (Tokyo Cultuart by BEAMS).
The exhibition is curated/supervised by Buffalo Daughter themselves. All the band history, from its forming to the present, through the historical deal with The Beastie Boys’ “Grand Royal” and the following world tour, will be reconstructed with huge archives of past works, photos, films, equipments, objects, wear and more.
7 inch singles “Cold Summer（c/w Daisy）”[1996 Grand Royal] with collaged artwork by Keiji Itoh, and “Sax, Drugs And Rock’n’roll (c/w Jellyfish Blues (live))” [1999] with beautiful picture sleeve of Hajime Tachibana artwork are re-pressed and sold as limited edition at the exhibition. Also, tin budge sets and “New Rock 20th” version T-Shirt are available at the gallery.
